About Simon Taylor

"With 20 years property experience, I spent the last five years building the East London Team of Purple Bricks from zero to the largest agent in East London by market share. I’m now taking the plunge to run my own estate agency focused, quite simply, on providing the very best personalised service possible."

Are you struggling to sell your Leyton property? Great news. Here are some tips to help you sell your home or property.

If you are struggling to sell your Leyton property, there are plenty of reasons as to why this could be the case. Let’s have a look at some of the more common ones here.

Your staging is bad:

It might seem silly as the buyer isn’t shopping for furniture but staging matters. There is a difference between staged homes and vacant homes, and typically, a staged home sells for more money and in a shorter amount of time.

The home needs some TLC:

It can be a bitter pill to swallow to pay for home improvements that you may not enjoy for long. But if you are struggling to sell your home and you want to sell for the full asking price, you might need to get your house in a condition that warrants it.

Your agent doesn’t seem to care:

Sometimes there’s nothing wrong with your house at all: It’s priced right and is well-maintained. But your agent could be turning people off. Your estate agent is meant to be your front-line representative. However, some agents have little to no personality, some are burnt-out, some don’t care, and others have no social skills.

Why I love being an estate agent in Leyton?

Leyton is a Hackney overflow these days. Young families and creatives move into Leyton as homes are more affordable to buy, and the area boasts some truly spectacular independent shops, restaurants and cafés.

How am I helping others in the Leyton community?

Technology has played an increasingly important part in operating as a business and communicating with my clients. However, I always retain direct personal contact with all of you, my client’s, to ensure your requirements are fulfilled. My friendly approach, local property knowledge, and professionalism are examples of helping people with their moves in and around the Leyton area.

Why Leyton is a Superb Place to Live?

Leyton is a suburban area of east London and part of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, located 6.2 miles north-east of Charing Cross. It borders Walthamstow and Leytonstone in Waltham Forest, Stratford in the London Borough of Newham and Homerton and Lower Clapton in the London Borough of Hackney.

The district includes part of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which hosted the 2012 Olympic Games, although it is predominantly residential. It consists mainly of terraced houses built between 1870 and 1910, interspersed with some modern housing estates.
